Yogaspot iPhone app lets you strike a tree pose on the go

The free Yogaspot iPhone app is just right for fitting in a downward dog on the fly or on the spot. Whether you’re traveling for work, stuck at the in-law’s house over the weekend or simply stressed out at work and have a moment to sneak away, simply check out this app for some personal yoga time.

This fitness app is filled with no-frills yoga videos for when you don’t have time to make it to a studio class. I tried the free and easy Vinyasa flow video on my lunch break, and it was just what I needed to de-stress after a long, stressful morning meeting.

I wouldn’t recommend this app for beginners, as there is little-to-no instruction on proper yoga pose form. If you’ve had a least a dozen classes with a real instructor under your belt, then this app is for you.

After you work through the free yoga videos, you can browse the additional yoga videos for purchase at 99 cents each. Not too bad of a price, considering a usual yoga class would cost you at least $15.

So next time you feel a little down, pull out the Yogaspot app and rev up your mental clarity with a downward dog and a quick-and-easy yoga video.
