What apps did you use during the Super Bowl?

NFL Mobile carried by Verizon smartphones and tablets was not the only app used by the masses during the Super Bowl.

During the last three minutes of the game, Twitter reported that 10,000 tweets were sent out each second. We will soon have the breakdown of how many were sent via mobile devices or “second screen” tablets. Even during the most tense moments of the great game, I found myself checking Facebook and Flipboard every few minutes.

What apps were you using during the big game? Did you draw Shazam to see if there was anything more to the mostly underwhelming commercials? The app could have been helpful to learn more about and perhaps pre-purchase that new Madonna song.

Apps are changing everything we do, even and especially during the biggest television event of the year.

Let us know what apps you were using and what the experience was like. Oh yeah, only a few weeks left until pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training!
