Trigonon for iPhone a futuristic-looking and tense puzzle game

Trigonon is the sort of puzzle game that will keep you up at night. Not because it’s terrifying, but because, at some point, you’ll get stuck on one of its puzzles, and feel so close to completing it, but not quite close enough.

That sort of thing feels like the mark of a good app game, and Trigonon is exactly that. Its puzzles all revolve around a marble that must be moved from one point on the board to a goal on the other side. That sounds simple, but various elements, like bumpers to help move the marble along and teleportation spots, make the game quite a challenge.

There is even a challenge in getting the ball into its goal. The goal must be activated with a tap, and after it is activated it, only stays open for a limited time before. So, even if you find yourself near the end of the level, failure to open the goal at the right time could set you back to the beginning of the level again. That’s because each level has a minimum time requirement. That time challenge, on top of an already-difficult level, makes Trigonon some of the most frustratingly enjoyable gameplay I’ve found on an iPhone in quite a while.

If you’re up for a good puzzle challenge, Trigonon will provide exactly that. It might appear simple at first, but the difficulty quickly ramps up. If you’re up for the challenge, it’s well worth your time.
