This iPhone app let’s you spin Kim Kardashian right round, baby

The Official Kim Kardashian Application iPhone app ($1.99) is basically a promotional vehicle for her perfume that launched in 2010 at Sephora beauty stores. The iPhone app is all about the fragrance, providing background on the perfume-making process, pictures of a billboard and the commercial promoting Kim’s perfume, as well as a link to Sephora’s Web site and a map to the closest Sephora so you can purchase the perfume.

Whew, Kim K. — perfume overload in this iPhone app!

For folks who are avid followers of everything Kim Kardashian, the iPhone app has direct access to her Twitter feed, as well as a section of voice comments from Kim on questions people have asked her on Twitter. For instance, Kim explains her favorite moisturizer is the uber-expensive Crème de la Mer, and her favorite lip gloss is Lip Fusion, which I’m guessing you can probably buy at Sephora.

My favorite part of the iPhone app is the virtual Kim that speaks to you when you shake your iPhone. Granted, she tells you more things about her perfume, like that she “sprays it all over,” but it was fun for a couple minutes. It would be much cooler if you could change her clothes and have access to her items she has in her actual closet, a virtual Kim Barbie doll. And, where is the link to the Dash clothing boutique online and the video clips from “Keeping up with the Kardashians?”

I’m just disappointed that when I spin the virtual Kim around, I can’t make her booty shake. For you Kim-obsessed guys out there, if you tap Kim’s lips, she’ll blow you a kiss.
