These iPhone apps will help make March Madness a little more sane

The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is upon us! Which iPhone apps should you download to help fill out your brackets and follow all the action? 

Whether you want to follow your favorite school or the sport as a whole, or even if you’re just looking for an iPhone app to help you win your office pool, we’ve got you covered.

Individual team iPhone apps

New Kentucky Wildcat’s coach John Calipari has been an immediate success at the school, as he and future top NBA draft pick John Wall have led the team to the top of the SEC. Calipari even has his own iPhone app now, an interactive media guide called  isn’t exactly a tournament-based iPhone app, it will appeal to many who enjoy games for not only the action, but because they have something riding on it. The 99-cent download is a fantasy betting iPhone app, so you don’t need to worry about losing any actual money (or “No bookies. No Vegas. Bet the game. Keep your kneecaps” as the app’s iTunes page states).

The iPhone app includes NBA games as well as college basketball games, and you can search games that other users are betting on. Tim Donaghy wishes this iPhone app was released a few years ago.
