The Grammys are over. Beyonce won Best Female Pop Performance. A flabbergasted Taylor Swift won a pair of golden records. The Kings of Leon nabbed Best Record of the year and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group. Sometimes listening to your favorite record by your favorite band is not enough. Long gone are the days of fan clubs and waiting outside concert venues for autographs; but don’t fret. Today’s bands have iPhone apps to keep you up to date with their latest news, blog posts, videos, tour dates, and more. These bands did not win any awards, but their iPhone apps are by far some of the best out there.

Echo & the Bunnymen iPhone app rules because it kicks in right away with tunes from their newest album, The Fountain, released late last year. And then it keeps playing while you navigate your way through the rest of the iPhone app. Other things you’ll find include show dates, photos, and magical videos of old-school hits like “The Killing Moon” and “Lips Like Sugar”.
