During future business lunches, there will be no need to ask the waiter for extra napkins to jot down your revolutionary ideas. The nifty Whiteboard: Collaborative Drawing application captures everything.

Once Whiteboard: Collaborative Drawing is downloaded, it is quite easy to use; your finger becomes a brush or pencil to sketch in six different colors. A sliding tool allows you to adjust the size of the line —  from pencil thin to a thick brush — and erase what you don’t want.

The additional sizzle in Whiteboard: Collaborative Drawing is due to the app’s capability to share your ideas. Any person with a touch-enabled device can join via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to contribute to the drawing.

Unfortunately, I was not in range of either device to test out the capability, but am sure that there will be ample opportunities for collaborative work and play (tick-tack-toe, connect the dots, etc.) down the road. To date, it’s a bit of a drag that you can only work together with the app when linked by Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. I would love to be able to use it while talking to someone on the phone.

On the iPhone, if you want to keep the drawing, you can take a screen shot of the drawing that can be shared with others. Whiteboard: Collaborative Drawing is produced by GreenGar Studios, the company that also produced Brain Tuner.
