App Store Selling Secrets, which is available on both the iPhone and iPod touch for $1.99, is not for everybody, but that’s how it’s meant to be. It’s an app specially designed to give the secrets of selling online apps on the iPhone App Store.

Selling Secrets is a regularly-updated pool of information for app developers. If you’re not creating apps for the iPhone App Store, you probably don’t need this one. But if you are, you could learn a lot about maximizing your sales, increasing awareness of your product, and insights into beating the competition. Selling Secrets works like a book that tells you how to maximize selling the products of any business. Some of the advice seems too straightforward and obvious to be of much help, but for $1.99, it couldn’t hurt to give it a try. The lite version of this program is available for free, so you can give it a test drive before you purchase it.

While suited for a specific audience, if you fit the profile, Selling Secrets could help put some more cash in your pocket. If your app sales have been down, or you have a lot of competition from other developers, you might want to give it a try and get a leg up. In the end, it seems it couldn’t hurt — and could only help.
