1. Rayman 2: The Great Escape

Released on the Sega Dreamcast in the late 1990s, Gameloft’s Cocoto Magic Circus ($0.99) in the App Store, but few manage to stand out like this new release. An evil clown has kidnapped the fairy Pixie and you travel through ‘theme park’ levels to save her. I’m a huge fan of the games graphics; they are colorful, sharp and simply well done. It includes four characters, 35 mini-games, three difficulty levels and a multiplayer online mode. Magic Circus can come off as a bit cutesy and the controls are simple (you tap the screen to shoot), but this game should not be written off as just another shooter.
