Ragdoll Blaster 2 iPhone game truly a blast

The original Ragdoll Blaster 2 ($2.99) has gone Hollywood. Or more accurately, Steampunk. Yes, the fashion trend that envisions a 21st century built solely on steam power and full of massive bronze factories, is Ragdoll Blaster’s new visual style, and it works perfectly.

So many of Ragdoll Blaster 2’s levels feel like giant contraptions, where you’re turning gears or knocking into levers, so the idea that a visual upgrade would mean making the levels feel factory-esque works very well for this game.

But the visuals aren’t the only thing given an upgrade in this swell sequel; the puzzles themselves have been upgraded considerably. You’ll now need to shoot ragdolls into buttons that open doors, teleportation mirrors that bring your ragdolls across a room in an instant, and around fans and vortexes that will pull your ragdoll all over the screen. The level of invention here has been upped considerably from what was already a very creative puzzle iPhone game.

If you had any interest in the original Ragdoll Blaster, you should’ve stopped reading a few paragraphs ago to go download the sequel. This is a more than worthy successor to the original in every way imaginable.
