Note 2 Obama iPhone app lets users vent their frustrations

Have something to say to President Barack Obama? Why not do it via your iPhone with the free Note 2 Obama iPhone app.

The app was created to allow citizens to communicate their concerns about the current status of the country with its chief executive. To communicate with the president, tap on the “write a note” button and get started. There are no word or character limits, and no editor to censor your words. Once you are done, hit send, and off it goes.

The app also allows you to read the notes submitted by other app users. To read notes you can select from “notes in the clouds,” “random notes,” and “search notes.” There, you will find everything from simple questions such as “Hey, how’s it going” to long rants about the nation’s weak economy. And there is plenty of bad-mouthing, so if you are an Obama fan, you may have to brace yourself a bit.

The app does allow for a little bit of interaction. If you love a note, you can indicate that by tapping the star button, and it will be advance up the list of notes that appear for viewing. If there is something in a note that is offensive, then you can also express your distaste by tapping the “X” button, and it will be automatically flagged for having questionable content.
