When you’re done with your creation, you can share it with others on Facebook and Twitter. Pixplit’s recent update adds improved user profile, push notifications and iPhone 5 support.

Who’s it for? If you take photos with your phone and share them with friends, you should give Pixplit a try.

Wild Blood update ($0.99 – on sale for a limited time)

What’s it about? Gameloft’s third-person action game, with high-quality graphics thanks to the Unreal Engine, lets players take on enemies and other players alike.

What’s cool? In King Arthur’s court, players take on the role of Lancelot and fight off demons that have escaped through an open gate to Hell. This isn’t the legend of King Arthur, but you get to fight through waves of enemies with a number of cool powers and weapons. Along with the game’s involved single-player mode, there’s also a multiplayer mode that lets you fight other players in epic battles, as well. Wild Blood’s new update adds even more features, including a new multiplayer mode and a multiplayer arena, along with weapons and armor.

Who’s it for? If you enjoy console games such as Darksiders 2 or the God of War franchise, you should check out Wild Blood.

What’s it like? Phosphor Games’ Horn is another great action-adventure title, as is Gameloft’s BackStab.
