Appolicious is pleased to introduce appoLearning.com, where parents, teachers and students find great education apps.

Speakerfy ($0.99)

What’s it about? Speakerfy tries to turn your listening experiences a little more social, allowing you to sync a song across multiple devices to have them all play it at the same time.

What’s cool? There are lots of situations in which you might wish you could get the song you’re playing in one room to play in another room at the same time. Parties are an obvious instance, but even just sharing a song with someone can be nice and invite discussion. Speakerfy looks to make that wish a reality, allowing you to sync a single song (or set of songs) across multiple iOS devices. The app works by either connecting devices that are on the same Wi-Fi network, or by creating a personal hotspot around one device that others can link to.

Who’s it for? If you’ve ever wished you could have the same song playing in two places at once, Speakerfy is for you.

What’s it like? Sync:Stream also lets you stream music to other devices, but focuses on DLNA-compatible ones like TVs, game consoles and Blu-Ray players.

Pixuru (Free)

What’s it about? Turn your iOS photos into hard copies and wall art with Pixuru.

What’s cool? Free app Pixuru doesn’t help you take better photos with your iOS devices – it allows you to turn them into something cooler than just digital photos on your phone. The app lets you order prints of your images on a number of surfaces, including canvas and wood. Pixuru lets you define the image, the size and the surface, and then lets you fire off an order using your credit card information over your cellular data network or Wi-Fi connection, and the end result gets shipped right to your door.

Who’s it for? If you’re looking for a way to make your digital photos into something physical, try Pixuru.

What’s it like? Canvas Print by Pinticular can create great wall art with your photos as well, and for a lower-price option, try sending your photos to be printed at a local Walgreens with its app.

Fruit Blast Mania (Free)

What’s it about? Matching title Fruit Blast Mania is all about carefully eliminating colored fruits from a grid, with the goal of dropping animals from the top of the stack to the bottom.

What’s cool? Free-to-play title Fruit Blast Mania does a fairly good job of balancing your ability to play it with its micro-transactions, and it also keeps the matching genre challenging. Each level presents you with stacks of different-colored fruits, on top of which sit baby mice you need to get to the ground level. Tapping a stack of fruit that has two or more adjacent blocks of the same type together removes them, but you need to be careful – clearing big sets of blocks at once nabs you the most points, but you also need to be strategic so that you’re not caught with blocks that don’t match to obstruct your process. Power-ups and other add-ons can help change up gameplay, but keep in mind that most of them are available through in-app purchases.

Who’s it for? Matching game fans will enjoy Fruit Blast Mania’s cute art style and smart gameplay.

What’s it like? Try developer TeamLava’s other matching games, Bubble Mania and Jewel Mania.
