What’s it about? Stream cool videos from a variety of channels across the Internet, and create channels of your own to share, with Rockpack.

What’s cool? There seems to be no shortage of apps that will help you find curated videos to watch on the web, but Rockpack stands out from the pack with a few interesting differences. First off, it has a slick design that looks great and is easy to navigate; second, it lets you search through a number of curated channels and get notifications when new videos pop up on the ones to which you’re subscribed. Maybe even better, though, is the ability to create and curate your own channels, which allows other users to follow you and vice versa. You can also share your channels across other social networks like Facebook and Twitter.

Who’s it for? If you’re looking for videos to stream, or want to share some with others, check out Rockpack.

What’s it like? You can grab more videos to watch from YouTube and Dailymotion.

Cross Horizon (Free)

What’s it about? Action-role-playing game Cross Horizon takes players into a fantasy world filled with monsters, and gives them the opportunities to quest their way through alongside friends.

What’s cool? Firing up Cross Horizon takes players into a fantasy world that’s filled with monsters that need defeating and quests that need completing. Players work through the game’s story as they travel through the game’s world, battling enemies with swipe-based attacks to make use of touchscreen devices, rather than virtual buttons. Probably the coolest part of the game is the ability to adventure through Cross Horizon with your friends, and you can choose which weapons you use and how you fight enemies for a more customized experience.

Who’s it for? RPG fans, grab some friends and start your adventure in Cross Horizon.

What’s it like? Try Order & Chaos and Ninja Royale for more role-playing fun.

Space Beats (Free)

What’s it about? From the mind of musician Egadz comes Space Beats, a rhythm game focused on electronic music and flashy futuristic visuals.

What’s cool? Space Beats is a standard rhythm game in a number of ways that players will recognize. Primarily, it’s a game about listening to music and tapping flashing prompts on the screen in time with the beat. In Space Beats, hitting the right button at the right time actually causes the beat to play, which means if you miss one, the song starts to sound off. The music in the game is all based on electronic musician Egadz’s album “Satellites,” and includes elements like a freestyle mode in which you can make your own versions of songs to score points.

Who’s it for? Fans of electronic music, Egadz, and rhythm games will have a good time with Space Beats.

What’s it like? Tap Tap Revenge 4 remains one of the best rhythm games available on iOS, as does Groove Coaster.
