Everyone has that one friend who has his room decked out in his favorite team’s gear: Framed jerseys on the wall, pennants here and there, maybe a row of team hats. NBA FanCam might just help you be that superfan, at least virtually.

FanCam works just like all the numerous photo-editing apps that turned your pictures into Halloween nightmares or winter wonderlands. You take a picture using the app and then you’re free to use the myriad of official NBA team jerseys, accessories and player likenesses to decorate your room as if you were the biggest fan in the world.

Laying out the decorations in your room is easy. You can zoom in decorations to make them larger, or zoom out to make them small enough so they appear to fit right onto your wall.

NBA FanCam also doesn’t believe in sports fan bigamy. While you might like the Bulls and the Lakers, you’re only able to decorate your room for one team at a time. You’re not able to edit a photo you’ve previously taken, either. So whichever team you choose as “your team” at startup is the team whose accessories you’ll be given when you begin to edit.

That bit of disappointment is softened when you realize you can upload your best photos to the official NBA fan website, thereby perhaps gaining yourself a bit of celebrity for your well-decorated superfan room. Who knows, maybe an NBA star will be so impressed you’ll net yourself a career as an interior decorator.

Bottom line, if you’ve always wanted to trick out your room with NBA, stuff but you lacked the money, patience or an understanding significant other, NBA FanCam is your chance. Step up and live your dream as the biggest NBA fan there is.
