Must Have Apps for Drawing Enthusiasts

Mar 22, 2018

Nothing will ever beat the experience of drawing with a sketchbook and pencil but it is not always the most convenient method of letting your creative side out and doesn’t always create the ideal result. Whether you’re planning on traveling and don’t have space in your case for all of your drawing equipment or have been seeking the airbrushed style of art found on Instagram, there is a sketchbook app for the job.

Below are five of the best sketchbook alternatives:

Adobe Photoshop – Sketch (iOS, Android)

Adobe Photoshop – Sketch brings the powerful painting engine that Photoshop users love to mobile, allowing users to use all of the features they know and love from Adobe products to create digital art ranging from sketches to paintings. If this wasn’t enough, you can save your work as PSD files and carry on working from your computer, meaning your creativity is no longer limited to the machine you have on hand. As with all programs in Adobe’s Photoshop ranging Sketch includes all of the features you would expect, including control over individual brush settings and the flexibility to organize your tools to create your very own work space.
