iPhone App Video Review: JellyCar 3

Feb 17, 2011

JellyCar was one of those games that you either loved or completely couldn’t understand. The game had extremely cartoonish graphics and a simple control scheme that made it look like a children’s game.

But aside from obvious kiddish look and feel, the game housed some awesome physics and really addicting gameplay. After seeing a sequel, the developers are back with a another iteration, JellyCar 3. This new game has the same look and feel of its past iterations. In fact, there really isn’t too much of a difference in this new one.

The game created a star system similar to apps like Angry Birds or Cut The Rope. One large feature that seems to be missing from this version is the ability to create your own maps. The feature was present in JellyCar 2 but is mysteriously absent from this new game. All the features you love about JellyCar are still there like the expand and shrink option and the awesome puzzles. Overall, this isn’t the best version I’ve played but it definitely is still the JellyCar experience. Definitely check it out.
