I rarely have found a person who doesn’t enjoy building a cartoon character for themselves. My passion started early in my Photoshop days but many others find it on systems like the Wii. Fortunately, there is a quality app for the iPhone that produces similar, if not better, results than most of the other programs. Facemakr is a simple app that gives you some great control over the character you build.
The app comes with a large amount of options you can use to create a unique cartoon face every single time. The interface works perfectly with smooth scaling and rotation of graphics. Once you have finished creating your one-of-a-kind character, you can export it to the photo album, an online gallery, or even post it as your Facebook profile picture right from the app.
While offering a fairly simple experience, this app was exactly what I would have hoped it to be. It provided an easy way to create a unique persona for myself and friends without being too complicated or too dumbed-down. Definitely check it out.
