iPad Social Media Apps

Social media apps known (or guessed) to be on the iPad.

Twitterrific for Twitter

Unnecessarily large version of Twitterific, or a less-cramped version of the iPhone app where you don’t need multiple screens to access all your Twitter info? Twitterrific for iPad is a free download that you can pick up as soon as you turn on your brand new iPad.

Tweetings for Twitter

Tweetings for iPad (coming soon, app link currently to iPhone version) will include lists, push notifications and geolocation. You’ll be able to follow tweets, share photos, videos, view conversations, see who’s nearby, and check out trending topics.

Rumor has it that social media guru Twitter client favorite Tweetie 2 (coming soon, app link currently to iPhone version) will be available for the iPad.

TweetDeck for iPad

TweetDeck is much more usable on the iPad than the iPhone, as the bigger screen allows you to view many of your columns at once.

The iPad is an incredible opportunity to bring more human gesture to the social experience – we wonder how the Facebook UI (current link to the iPhone app – there is not yet an iPad app) will evolve.
