Food is good. How’s that for a lead in? Everybody loves food and then there are the special few who enjoy making it. Thankfully my fiancée is one of those people and apps like this help to ensure some amazing recipes hit the dinner table. In The Kitchen is an app created by the Food Network.

The app provides a huge amount of high quality recipes from the kitchens of all of their different chefs. With 20 different chefs to choose from, you have a large selection of all different kinds of foods. The app is meant to serve as a cooking aid in the kitchen. It offers the obvious recipes, a unit converter, recipe box, and even a shopping list feature that takes from some of the other popular food apps in the App Store.

The layout is very simple and makes it really easy to find a dish you are interested in and begin working your magic. Each ingredient has a button next to it where you can add things to your shopping list and instantly know what to buy.

Overall, the recipes have a proven track record from a network television show dedicated to food. The app is a great tool for both professional chefs and bachelors alike. Definitely check this one out.
