Get your hall pass on with these iPhone apps

With the creation of iPhone apps comes a whole new method for cheaters to cheat, and I’m not talking Words with Friends cheating apps. If you aren’t up for giving your husband or wife a ‘hall pass,’ you better check and make sure they don’t have these apps on their iPhone.

Ashley Madison

I shuddered when I found out that this social networking app existed. The somewhat free Ashley Madison app allows users looking for a ‘hall pass’ to find a relationship with another married person. Ashley Madison has more than 11,000 online users and this app allows them to have extramarital affairs on the go. It is free to sign up and get your winks on but like other dating sites, charges a fee after that.

OKCupid

This free dating app is the companion to the OKCupid website. Your significant other may say they are using the app to find new friends, but with the extensive photos and match rating system, my guess is they aren’t trolling for a basketball or a shopping buddy with this app. One of the questions in the profile section is actually “Do you think that people should be allowed to marry more than one person at a time?” Is this the official app of polygamy? Hello, Big Love.

How To Lie (And Get Away With It!)

If there is one thing I won’t stand in a relationship, friend or lover, it is lying. If I caught my man with the How To Lie (And Get Away With It!) app (99 cents) on his iPhone, you better believe the relationship would be over. The app teaches techniques to improve on gestures that may tell another that you are lying, such as movements of your hands and eyes or even verbal clues. On the other hand, this app can teach you techniques to catch a cheat. Hmmmm… okay, maybe it isn’t so bad and I will download it after all.

Girlfriend Panic Button

Did you sleep with your girlfriend’s best friend? The Girlfriend Panic Button app (99 cents) says it can help you with the situation but doesn’t guarantee the results in your favor. Select your minor mistake, e.g. “showed up five minutes late,” or your huge mistake, e.g. “forgot her birthday,” on the dial and see what wisdom the app can offer you to save your relationship. Here is some free dating advice: don’t cheat on your girlfriend and tattoo her birthday on your wrist.

Breakup or Makeup

Now that you caught your significant other with one or more of these apps, what do you do next? Check out the Breakup or Makeup app (99 cents), which will walk you through a serious of common questions to help you figure out if your current relationship is worth investing your time in over the long haul. It offers honest advice and could be more impartial than talking to your friends who may or may not already hate your partner.
