Guilty pleasures, as embarrassing as they can be, are super fun to have — or we wouldn’t have them. Whether that means watching reality television shows like “The Hills” or “The Biggest Loser,” eating deep fried chocolate bars, or reading trashy romance novels, it’s nice to have vices that take our mind off of life’s pressures.

Indulgences like eating raw chocolate chip cookie dough from the container while thumbing through celebrity mags might not be as good for you as chomping on celery sticks while swallowing down Foucault, but you’re not robbing a bank or anything. You can feel guilty, but not that guilty. When you’re feeling the need to feed your indulgent side, check out the list of apps below.

Stack of Dimes (FREE)

Stack of Dimes is a podcast all about guilty pleasures. The app has episodes from the podcast, SOD’s Twitter feed, episode previews on YouTube, little blog entries, and SOD merchandise. Plus link to their Facebook page and “like” them. Your hosts JD and Thunder contemplate life’s most essential topics, the really important stuff like fried pickles, Buttermilk House Dipping Sauce from Jack in the Box, ribs at Burger King, the 66 most overrated hotties of 2010, and the nightmarish world of dating.

Lindsay Lohan Special (99 cents)

Hold the mayo and the mustard—the Lindsay Lohan Special app has only one main ingredient: pictures of Ms. Lohan. Those green eyes, high cheekbone and bleach blonde (or sometimes reddish-brown) hair. Lohan in lots of short skirts and bathing suit tops, showing cleavage. Plus, you can download and save all the pictures for your viewing pleasure, or to use as your wallpaper.

RealityTVBuzz (FREE)

RealityTVBuzz is just that. This app bestows upon you all the juicy gossip from the top reality TV shows you need to know about. Headlines like “‘The Bachelor’ Vienna Girardi irate over ‘fake’ emails suggesting Jake Pavelka affair” and “Big Brother pair Nathan and John James facing eviction” decorate the home page. You can also search by category; with the categories being “Reality TV shows” or “websites.” Choose from “Big Brother,” “Dating in the Dark,” “RealityBlurred.com,” and “Realtelevision.net.”

The Official Kim Kardashian Application ($1.99)

The Official Kim Kardashian Application is officially kind of creepy. When the app first opens up, a virtual Kim action figure greets you by saying “Hi doll” and then continually takes a bow every few seconds. Then, ask Kim beauty questions and hear her recorded voice answer you. What’s Kim’s favorite lip gloss? What is her cure for lack of sleep? View Kim’s Twitter feed for her thoughts: “I ate sooo bad today! What’s wrong with me?” (as if something might be “wrong” with her for that), and read about her “background,” which isn’t about her background at all, but instead her signature fragrance (the app is powered by Sephora, which carries her fragrance exclusively).

Voter: Reality TV, Polls & More  ($1.99)

Even if reality TV isn’t your thing, the Voter: Reality TV, Polls & More app is a good time. The polls ask questions like “Who should replace Simon on Idol?” (I thought my Gene Simmons vote would have stood solo; to the contrary, it was the most popular) to “Which super power would you want?” (this one was tricky but I settled for the ability to fly and I was also not alone on that). Vote for who will win, who will be eliminated, and more on individual shows like “So You Think You Can Dance” and “I’m a Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here.”
