Monsters, aliens and molecular pandas make up today’s Fresh Games list. Smashing his way onto your iPhone first is Destructopus!, a game in which the side-scrolling main character is just interested in wrecking everything and saving animals. Next is Who’s That Flying?!, a touch arcade-style side-scrolling shooter. And finally, we have Nano Panda, in which you’ll use pandas as molecules to solve various puzzles. Keep reading to get all the dirt below.

Destructopus! (iPhone, iPad) $1.99

Humans have polluted your ocean home, so as Destructopus, a huge and angry octopus monster, it’s time to seek revenge. You’ll climb out of the ocean and start to ravage human cities with a combination of abilities, destroying skyscrapers and freeing caged endangered animals, while fighting off military personnel, vehicles and missiles.

Sixteen levels of side-scrolling, 16-bit destruction await the Destructopus as it slips through human cities. The more enemies, civilians and structures you destroy without taking a hit from the military yourself, the more your score multiplyer will rise, encouraging you to keep your head on a swivel and maximize your reflexes as well as your destructive tendencies.

Who’s That Flying?! (iPhone, iPad) $0.99

Take to the skies in Who’s That Flying?! As a superhero charged with defending the earth, you’ll fly into action in this side-scrolling shooter, with lasers firing away at aliens bent on ravaging the planets cities. The more enemies you crush in a row without letting any through, the stronger the combo weapons you’ll gain access to that can be used to crush huge numbers of enemies.

You get 15 levels with Who’s That Flying?!, which terminate in five huge boss fights. You also get an “Infinite” mode in which you see how long you can survive; a challenge mode; and various unlockable prizes to track down along the way. The game also includes OpenFeint support to bring you achievements and let you check your progress on WTF’s online leaderboards.

Nano Panda (iPhone, iPad) $0.99

Physics puzzler Nano Panda does, in fact, include pandas — but they’re not so much mammals as molecules. By tapping cannons spread around the levels, you’ll fire your nano pandas through each puzzle, trying to catch stars floating in various places. Nano pandas attract one another, so firing more than one will change the trajectories of both. You’ll need to put on your physics thinking cap in order to snag all the stars and destroy all the enemy molecules in each puzzle.

You get Game Center support with your Nano Panda, which will provide extra encouragement to power through puzzles in the form of unlockable achievements and online message boards where you can measure your progress against other players.
