LoopMash (iPhone, iPad) $3.99

Create techno beats on the go with LoopMash, a virtual instrument that features more than 250 sound loops that you can edit and combine to make “scenes.” Each of the eight available background scenes can support up to four loops at a time to create your musical experience, and the app contains 50 or so presets to get you started straight out of the gate.

LoopMash supports four different languages to give you some comfort if English isn’t your first language. It also includes four different effects you can apply to your loops to get even more control as you create your custom soundtrack for parties or life in general.
