If you’re a frequent flier or know people that are constantly on the go, FlightTrack – Live Flight Status Tracker can keep pace with those travels.

FlightTrack allows for real-time flight updates worldwide, using an easy-to-navigate map interface to track a plane’s every move.

Detailed flight information, including arrival/departure gate numbers and baggage claim info is readily available. The data is provided by FlightStats.com.

If your flight has been canceled, use the app’s search function to find alternates. You can even share your flight status via email, a useful tool for letting others know of a delay.

This app is especially handy for a travel veterans who meet with others traveling from different locations. A simple search of the airline and flight number is all that’s needed to stay in touch with their schedules.

At $4.99, this moderately-priced app is worth every penny, but if you want more, then check out FlightTrack Pro – Live TripIt Flight Status Tracker. The hefty $9.99 version adds airport delays, weather forecasts and the ability to automatically sync your TripIt itineraries.

With either FlightTrack version, it’s a safe bet you’ll be better in tune with all those travel plans.
