FIFA World Cup iPhone app mostly scores

I’ve never been one to hide my admiration for Other than that, this is pretty much the same game as FIFA 10. If you’re looking at buying one or the other, then World Cup is the one to go with, as the new animations and controls are a definite improvement over last year’s game.

But if you already own FIFA 10? Well, you’ll be disappointed if you’re expecting a completely different game. The create-a-player modes are basically the same, and while I do prefer the new control scheme, it’s not like the old one was awful.

Then again, game sequels with slight improvements is something that console gamers have been dealing with for years. Let’s just be glad this one only costs $6.99, instead of $50 or more.
