Favorite Music Apps

Sep 26, 2011

I carry my iPhone with me whereever I go. I have my headphones in with music planning any possible moment that I can. I love when my teachers let us have music – usually that’s on break time or in art class.

Pandora – Free Music & Radio

this is a good app to listen to music to. But since it works over the internet you are limited – like if you’re in an airplane or in a place with bad cellphone service it won’t work. It also has a lot of commercials. Another bonus is you can listen to new music but not buy it, save your favorites and discover other music like what you already listen to.

Shazam – Discover music, artists, videos & lyrics

this is made to put up to the radio or to a music source and it will tell you the name and artist of the song. The only bad thing is if you talk it messes it up. There was a button after it told you the name of the song you could buy it or play the youtube video. So over all a good app.

you can make a play list from your iPod for your different workouts. You also can make your own workout routine. So when when you pick your routine you also start your music it’s like getting 2 in 2. “Choose your type of workout, length of training, best workout music and favorite Nike athletes—then get to work”

SoundHound + hands-free with “OK Hound” | Search, Discover and Play Music

is just like Shazam it does the exact same thing it works a little more often than Shazam but there both good free apps that can tell you the name and artist of the music your listening to.

Music top 100’s hits

when you open the app it asks you what country you’re in then it tell you the top songs in that country. This is a free way to stay connected with the latest music.
