Elixir Master is a fun, quirky iPhone game that reminds me of a Tim Burton animation. This $1.99 game is cute, and a lot of fun. You’re a medieval alchemist, whose job is to mix magical potions for your customers. If you succeed, they’ll be very happy, and pay you in gold. If you don’t, they’ll be sour, and grumble and pop off the screen. It’s a simple memorization game, with some surprises along the way. I love the sound effects and the look and feel of the game.
If you can master the memorization and location of the items, you’ll do just fine. Sometimes the ingredients get rearranged, and you have to rely on your memorization skills once again. If you forget, the game is a little forgiving, as you can tap on the customer to see his list of ingredients. If you do it too many times, however, the customer will become annoyed, and leave.

One game can go on for a while. but in a good way. As you play up to level 10, you can earn enough gold to buy parts of a golem, a mysterious creature that promises you good fortune. With its whistling wind blowing the clouds across the sky or the squishing of spiders as they cross the screen, this game is sure to please. The only drawback is that sometimes the sound effects can be a nuisance, and I want to shut them off, but there is no button for that so I have to shut off sound on my phone.
A few times, I’ve mixed the perfect potion, but the customer still popped off. That was irritating.
