Minigore (iPhone) Free (was $0.99)

There’s only about another day of this well-received, oft-updated, two-stick shooter being free in the App Store, so capitalize on your good fortune while you have the chance.

Featuring different unlockable characters and additional levels being added over time, both for free and with in-app purchases, Minigore presents a pretty well-rounded, but simple, arcade game experience. As with most great games, your task — blast everything with big guns, and try not to die in the process. It also has a pretty great 3D art style that sets it apart from other, similar offerings.

Fotoleech (iPhone) Free (was $0.99)

Fotoleech is free for a limited time, and avid Facebook users should get it while the getting’s good. It only has one function, but it’s kind of a great idea, especially for an app that’s free.

The one job Fotoleech does: it scours Facebook for every photo you’re tagged in and downloads it to your iPhone’s camera roll. Use it to back up every photo you’ve ever appeared in on Facebook, including those that were posted by other people — as well as to find photos you didn’t know existed or haven’t seen in a long while. Hey, it’s free, so why not?

Freelancer Mobile (iPhone) $0.99 (was $1.99)

This app connects users to the features of freelance.com, a service that links freelancers with employers on a job-by-job basis. Being a freelancer myself, I’m partial to apps that make my disjointed professional life a little easier, and Freelance Mobile definitely helps with that.

Primarily, the app lets you search through job listings as a freelancer, or post new ones as an employer. It allows you to save and email potential employment opportunities, as well as to get in touch with the person who’s working for you, or with the person for whom you’re working. Freelance Mobile lets you look around for jobs or for help no matter where you are, with a lot of simple and effective features.
