Download Discounts for Nov. 11: Zombie Crisis 3D, Space Miner, GTA Chinatown Wars

We’ve got a mess of discounted games for you for today’s Download Discounts. Read on to save money on shooting zombies, stealing cars, and mining space rocks. Seriously, that last one is more fun than it sounds.

Zombie Crisis 3D (iPhone) $1.99 (was $2.99)

It’s hard to get tired of blasting zombies, despite the fact that there are a ton of games which offer players that ability. Zombie Crisis is a bit spiffier-looking than many of them, and changes up the dynamic by being a rail shooter — the player doesn’t control the movement of the on-screen character, just the aiming and firing of various weapons.

You’ll have a good time gunning down the undead by tapping them with your fingers, and it’s worth it to grab Zombie Crisis now, as developer Triple Point plans to roll-out an update pretty soon that should improve the game further.

Space Miner: Space Ore Bust (iPhone) $1.99 (was $4.99)

Well, it’s a role-playing game that has you mining. In space. It might sound simple and maybe a little boring (though it’s a little known fact that mining is, in fact, riveting entertainment), but Space Miner is actually a space-based shooter with a lot of content, realistic physics, and many missions to complete.

Space Ore Bust is on sale to celebrate the release of Space Miner Blast, a simplified version of the original that just involves the shooting elements of the game and none of the story or engrossing missions, but is also free. If you enjoy one, you’ll dig the other.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (iPhone, iPad) $6.99 (was $9.99)

Chances are good you’ve heard of Grand Theft Auto even if you’re not much of a gamer. Chinatown Wars is an expansion of the GTA universe that includes more than 50 missions and all the fun and iconic gameplay that’s made the console and PC editions of the series so famous and popular.

GTA fans will recognize the core gameplay of Chinatown Wars, which involves working with criminal factions, battling police, stealing cars and shooting rival gangsters. This is one of the biggest and most involved iOS games out there.
