Check out our Download Discounts list today for a couple of interesting free apps: a strategy game with lots of levels in one, and an app that help you set up meetings on the go in the other. Read on to get the skinny on all the price cuts we’ve got for you.

Red Conquest! (Episodes 1 & 2) (iPhone) Free (was $3.99)

Snag this space-based real-time strategy game for free for a limited time. It actually operates as both a prequel and sequel to two more action/RTS games, Blue Defense! and Blue Attack! You’ll get a ton of levels to play in this one as you guide your military units around the map to strategically defeat your enemies.

Red Conquest includes a story-based campaign mode, plus a Challenge mode with 16 extra stages to battle through. And you can take the fight to your friends with up to eight players in multiplayer on a local Wi-Fi network.

MeetU (iPhone) Free (was $2.99)

This all-in-one meeting organizer app is designed to let you schedule meetings on the fly and give you all the resources you need, from setup to attendance to follow-up.

MeetU lets you set up the date, time and place of your meeting, set reminders and send out messages to people in your contacts list to get them on-board. Once you’re reminded of the meeting and you make it there, you can also use the app to take down meeting notes and share them with others later. For free, this sounds like it could be a useful organizer on the go.

Last Stop (iPhone, iPad) $1.99 (was $2.99)

There are plenty of alarm apps to wake you up, keep you on time, and notify you of all kinds of things by hour, but Last Stop is an alarm for where you are, rather than when. Set this proximity alarm and you’ll get a notification as you approach a location, tracked by your iOS device’s GPS functionality.

You can set the range you want the alarm to use to notify you, and the app allows you to tap locations on the map to mark them for alarms. Last Stop can also run in the background as well, so that you’ll be able to lock your phone and take a nap on a bus or train, without worrying about missing your stop.
