Looking for great new games at a discounted rate? EA Mobile is having a big sale for Easter, just like Sega, and has dropped a huge number of games down to just $0.99. We’ve featured a couple of our favorites below, but you can track down a bunch of other great sale titles by searching for “EA Mobile” in the iTunes App Store.

Dead Space (iPhone, iPad) $0.99 (was $6.99)

Quick! Download Dead Space immediately, while it’s on sale for just a buck. The third-person survival-horror title is gory and filled with sci-fi monsters — in other words, it’s one of the most powerful and spookiest experiences you can get on the iPhone or the iPad, and this is a great opportunity to buy it.

Dead Space follows the story of the console game series of the same name, and actually bridges the gap between the recently released Dead Space 2 and its predecessor. Its primary gameplay has you fighting off former humans that have been turned into hideous monsters, and you do so by cutting off the limbs of your foes. It’s a deliberate, frightening horror title: not for the squeamish or the young, but a great buy for people who like scary games.

Tetris (iPhone) $0.99

One of the greatest puzzle games of all time and the precursor to hundreds of titles that built on its model, Tetris has been ported to the iPhone with touch controls and some new features to make play a little easier for gamers who need a helping hand in grabbing a high score.

Tetris comes with two gameplay modes, the original classic Marathon mode and the new, power-up-laden Magic mode, to keep you busy mastering the ins and outs of the Russian puzzle marvel. You can also adjust the soundtrack to play your iPod music as background for the game, if you want.

Chop Chop Caveman (iPhone, iPad) Free (was $0.99)

Don your leopard loin cloth and get prehistoric in Chop Chop Caveman, in which you control a caveman who has diamonds to collect and dinosaurs to punt. This platformer has you running and jumping, breaking through walls and, of course, fighting off cartoon dinosaurs as you try to make your way through each level as quickly as possible, all while collecting various shiny objects to increase your score.

Chop Chop Caveman features 20 levels and packs 15 achievements, plus leaderboards, care of OpenFeint and Game Center. You’ll take on big bosses along the way and search for hidden collectibles in between bouts with dinosaurs and scarfing down huge pieces of meat to increase your point totals.
