Conserva iPhone app’s tilt and scroll function worth 99 cents

If you are partial to reading your news on the go minus the actual paper, check out the Conserva app (99 cents). This Enhanced News Reading (ENR) app keeps Fox News, Drudge Report, The Wall Street Journal and many more all in one handy place.

The Web sites are all optimized through Conserva, so you won’t see any ads or extra stuff. However, this did hinder my experience with the app when I was reading a New York Post article about Derek Jeter’s new Tampa mansion and the link to the photos was disabled, so I had to jump online to see them.

The app also touts a handy tilt and scroll function that makes it even easier to read through long stories on your iPhone while sipping your morning coffee. Another cool integrated function called Instapaper allows you to save articles in text to read later, even if you aren’t able to connect to the Internet.

Overall, this app is a great addition to a news junkie’s iPhone, and you get it all for a little more than the cost of a daily newspaper.
