Celebrity iPhone apps showcase both talent and fame

The world is fascinated with celebrity gossip. Luckily for the celebs, the iPhone gives them one more way to inundate our world and actually share their talents with us. I’m not talking about their uncanny ability to cheat on their wives or visit rehab every other month; I’m talking about enjoying the genuine creativity — and sometimes unique attributes — which make a person famous.

There are a variety of iPhone apps that celebrate the talents of the folks we worship.

Of course, musicians and the iPhone go hand in hand. So it would be kismet that the pop stars branch into the iPhone app world first. Thanks to the iPhone, we can now test our singing abilities against the greatest musicians with the karaoke apps such as  app is one of the most costly celebrity apps, but it does not disappoint. Then again, I’m a sucker for man who can cook, especially one with a British accent. You have to admit, it’s much more appealing than watching Rachel Ray for 30 minutes. It even has handy videos within the recipes to help you with preparing garlic, knife care, etc.

I have to say I’m enjoying the celebrity foray into the iTunes App Store. Honestly though, I’m a little disappointed that we haven’t yet been graced with a Kardashian sister ultimate butt workout and diet app hosted by Quick Trim or a Goop app from Gwyneth Paltrow. Come on ladies; give the iPhone public what they want!
