Best Health Apps for 2010 on iPad

Dec 30, 2010

These are my favorite picks of all the Health-related apps for iPad that I reviewed in 2010 on Appolicious

Silent Island Relaxation HD

“Silent Island goes one step further than other mediations apps for iPad buy adding videos. It has a nice playlist as well, not as short as other relaxations apps, and the usual mix of sound effects. It has a night stand mode that blackens the screen showing just the time, and title track playing. Nice to unwind to.”

WebMD for iPad

“Pretty much like the Web version as far as the basics, but formatted for a smaller screen.”

Yoga Free for iPad: Asanas and Exercises

“Yoga Free for iPad is a decent poses, with step by step directions and customized Programs you can build from beginner to guru level. Nice music, thorough instructions, and the ability to add the program with in app purchasing.

The only limitation I have found to yoga of exercise Programs for iPad is the small screen, and trying to keep up with the details if not verbally queued. These Programs may do better on the Mac app store, if they take advantage of iMac display sizes.”

Eye Chart Pro – Test Vision and Visual Acuity better with Snellen, Sloan, ETDRS, and Near Vision Exams!

“Very lengthy disclaimer on Eye Chart Pro should keep optometrists at ease. Though the ability to scramble the words is pretty neat.”
