Having a camera on the iPhone allows for some cool applications and Autostitch is definitely one of the coolest. This app lets you create an amazing panoramic picture from the images in your photo library.

The precision of Autostitch is one of its best parts. All the panoramic pictures Autostitch has created for me have been seamless and smooth.

If you’re standing on top of a mountain, you can turn around in a circle and take multiple shots with your iPhone as you turn. Open Autostitch, choose the photos from your photo library, and Autostitch will create a beautiful panoramic picture in about a minute. Autostitch will work with any pictures in your iPhone photo library but it does not work with the iPod Touch.

The best part is the ability to crop your nearly finished photo after you’ve stitched the images together. The end result is a beautiful, rectangular panoramic picture.  The quality is great and you’re able to pan and zoom in Autostitch as you view your finished photo.

I’m impressed with the ease of use of Autostitch and the high quality of the panoramic pictures it produces.  The app is easy enough for everyone from your grandmother to your nephew to use, yet the pictures it creates look as if a professional took them.

Autostitch is a must buy for everyone from the casual picture taker to the avid photographer.  You’ll be wowing your friends in no time with the spectacular landscapes you’ll capture with your iPhone.
