If you are looking for a mindless short-term relationship with an iPhone application, then Are You Really in Love? is the app for you. The best thing about the app is it’s free, which will make you feel OK about about deleting it after playing with it a few times.

In the days before iPhones and cell phones, couples would have to go on a series of dates to determine whether they had genuine feelings for each other. Developed by Trippert Labs, Are You Really In Love? speeds up that annoying process, boiling the dating game down to a series of multiple-choice questions. The application frames a few scenarios by asking how you might deal with your partner’s upcoming trip abroad, or how you might deal with a day stuck in the rain. Your response to these queries, in theory, will determine if you are really compatible with your partner.

The iPhone app boasts a straightforward interface but is occasionally brought to a halt with ads, which can be a bit disorienting. When you complete your quiz, the app offers you the option of sharing your results by publishing it on your Facebook page, thereby sparing you the hassle of human contact if you decide to pop the question or ditch your partner.

In short, those days of pesky paper cuts from those Cosmopolitan quizzes are long gone — unless you need tips on how to spice up your relationship.
