Apps That Helped Me Lose 50 Pounds

I’ve lost 50 lbs. this year, and these are the apps that helped me do it. It’s silly to say that my iPhone helped me lose weight…but it really, really did!

Calorie Counter & Diet Tracker by MyFitnessPal

I can’t say enough about this app. It’s easy to use, free, and great for tracking calories. I enter my recipes, track my foods, my exercise, etc. and it’s so easy. It always loads, always works and is totally adjustable. I love it. By far my favorite app for this purpose—and I’ve tried them ALL.


Run 5k – interval training coach + stretch program

This app is slowly but surely making me a runner, and I love it!


Sleep Cycle alarm clock

I never realized how much NOT getting enough sleep messed with my system—this app allows me to track my sleep and also wake up at more natural times, making working out, etc. easier.
