Beyond the fun and games and use as a productivity tool, Apple’s iDevices are revolutionizing childhood development and education. Appolicious member Lydia2 shares her 10 favorites to come out this year including Planets, Memory Matches and Dinosaurs: The American Museum of Natural History Collections.

My 2010 picks for apps

Appolicious member Gokunama had trouble condensing all of her favorite apps of the year into one Top-10 List. Gokunama’s all across the board lists includes apps for productivity (Outliner), news consumption (Time Mobile), and fun (UniWar).

The screen resolution of the iPhone 4 and expanded playing field of the iPad helped to catapult iOS devices ahead of all other mobile gaming competitors. Appolicious gamer Teacup shares her list of hot new games, including Infinity Blade, The Incident, and Dark Break HD.

 

Giving Android apps the business

AndroidApps member and Advisor contributor Arvid Bux loves all the business-focused apps for Android devices. In his list of Best Business Apps of 2010, Bux showcases Evernote, Dropbox, and Remember the Milk as among his favorite.
