What’s it about? Evernote’s Skitch app makes it possible for users to add annotations to documents and images and share them with others.

What’s cool? Skitch is great for collaborating with others on just about anything. The app lets you add text and other annotations to photos and documents, and share whatever you mark up with as many people as you want. Skitch includes the ability to add stickers and text to PDF files and more, and when you’re done, you can send your annotated documents either through email or through your Evernote account. You can search through everything you create with the app’s search function, as well. Skitch’s new update adds a “Summary” feature that lets you see all the annotations on a particular document, among other features.

Who’s it for? Skitch is for anyone who wants to stay productive. It’s great for businesses, study groups, family members and friends.

What’s it about? Fantasy massively multiplayer online game Arcane Legends adds more content for players to adventure through.

What’s cool? Like other MMO role-playing games, Arcane Legends is a huge world that players can explore with characters they create, fighting through various quests and gaining new weapons, armor and abilities along the way. You’ll be able to take on different quests and obstacles with friends over a Wi-Fi connection, and Arcane Legends also includes pets that you can find and bring along with you as you explore the game’s world. The latest update to Arcane Legends adds a new area to explore, as well as new weapons and armor to discover.

Who’s it for? Fans of multiplayer titles such as World of Warcraft should check out Arcane Legends.

What’s it like? Developer Spacetime Studios also offers two other MMO titles worth checking out – Star Legends and Pocket Legends.

Crazy Machines Golden Gears ($2.99)

What’s it about? Puzzle title Crazy Machines tasks players with the building of intricate Rube Goldberg machines with each new level.

What’s cool? Crazy Machines provides players with tons of different elements and resources and tasks them with coming up with creative ways to use those elements to solve problems. Each new stage requires a different solution, and you’re scored on the creativity you use to solve the puzzle, rather than going for the simplest solutions. There’s a huge library of items you can use to build your machines, and you’ll also be able to make machines to do whatever you want in the game’s endless mode.
