Snoop Dogg, the noted linguist, offers an app that anyone familiar with the rapper’s style will want, fo shizzle: Snoop Dogg’s iFizzle Soundboard.
Soundboards have long been part of the prank call community. Consisting of little more than sound clips of one celebrity or another, soundboards allow the user to create a pseudo-conversation—be it telling fools that they are pitied by Mr. T or that they’re not a snitch by Al Pacino. With Snoop’s iPhone soundboard, you’ll forever be able to tell grandma that you are, in fact, on the way to “chuuch.”
As previewed on “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien,” iFizzle, created in conjunction with Cashmere Interactive, has a user-friendly interface. Tapping one of the 16 custom illustrated sound icons gets you a nugget of advice or quick comment from Snoop Dogg. Sound bites include “Back up in the heezy, baby,” “Drop it like it’s hot,” “Fa shizzle, my nizzle” and “Deez nutz!”
The app is basic at best, but with a price tag of only 99 cents, your money won’t be on your mind. For Snoop aficionados or even casual fans, this app will provide some laughs and perhaps even the perfect zing. Plus, as Snoop says: “U got 2 do it!”
