Appolicious launches new sites for Android apps and Yahoo! apps

Appolicious Inc. this morning unveiled two new websites to help consumers find applications for Android-based devices as well as for Yahoo! apps.

Leveraging the technology and institutional expertise of Appolicious – which combines social networking, journalism and a cutting edge federated search tool – AndroidApps.com and yap.appolicious.com will help consumers source and share mobile and web-based applications that are most relevant to them.

Appolicious features including Curated Lists, the app Library Builder and the ability to rate and write reviews for individual apps are all available on AndroidApps.com and yap.appolicious.com. Also launching this morning is a new Appolicious android app to along with applications the company has for the iPhone and iPad platforms.

The Appolicious partnership with Yahoo!, which launched in April, is now extended to AndroidApps.com and yap.appolicious.com. Accordingly, visitors of Yahoo.com and various properties including Yahoo! News, Yahoo! Games, and Shine will be exposed to articles and reviews from Appolicious covering relevant iPhone, Android and Yahoo! apps depending on their areas of interest.
